Daughter of the Pirate King Review

Daughter of the Pirate King is a book that’s sat on my to-read stack for a few months since I got it in my OwlCrate. I hadn’t heard much about it, and though I looked forward to it, it somehow never made it to the top of my list. But after finishing Heir of Fire by Sarah J. Maas I had to read a few short books before I jump into Queen of Shadows. Before finishing Daughter of a Pirate King and Goodbye Days (By Jeff Zentner) I was four behind. So, this seemed like a quick way to help make up the gap. Without further ado, here’s my Daughter of the Pirate King review!

What I thought about Daughter of the Pirate King by Tricia Levenseller!

Traitor to the Throne Review

Here is my Traitor to the Throne review! I had to wait a little while to write my review for this until I had calmed down a little inside. This book has a ton of feels, so prepare yourself! Amani is back and she is trying to kick some ass. Unfortunately, someone is making that difficult. So, why should you read this book? Read on and I will tell you!

My Traitor to the Throne Review! Why you should read it!

Taylor Swift Book Tag

So, however you feel about Taylor Swift, book tags are fun. I personally enjoy her music and this tag looked like a lot of fun. So here is my version of the Taylor Swift book tag! You can see the original post on youtube here. I personally found the tag on Becoming Bookish.

For those of you who aren’t familiar with a book tag, it’s basically a bunch of prompts related to a theme. In this case the theme is Taylor Swift songs. It’s pretty self-explanatory, so read on!

We Are Okay

We Are Okay by Nina LaCour was a book I’d seen all over Instagram for the past couple of months. I wasn’t sure about it, but I finally borrowed it from my local library. And boy, am I glad I did!

Everything you want to know about We Are Okay.

Hay House Writer’s Workshop

Sorry I’ve been gone for so long! I traveled to Las Vegas for a Writer’s Workshop and I was busier than I anticipated. I’m going to give you a day by day so it’s not too overwhelming. Unfortunately, I didn’t take pictures. I was too busy taking in the sights!

We traveled down to Vegas from Northern Utah. It was a great day for the drive. We made it to St. George where we stopped at Barnes and Noble. We were in the car for over 4 hours so it was nice to take a break. I held myself to two books and I ended up with a couple manga. I’ve read through them both over the weekend and heartily enjoyed them. I won’t do a full review but I might do a summary of them both.  We made it to Las Vegas fairly early. We stayed at Excalibur which was fun. Unfortunately, the pools hours were from 10-5. So, we didn’t get to swim at all. That night we did a little shopping and had a yummy dinner.

Books that I purchased on my trip to Las Vegas for the Writer's Conference.

Doctor Who Book Tag!

I’m a huge modern whovian. I’ve watched a bit of the classic and I will finish it eventually. I just struggle with finding a consistent place to watch it. Plus, it’s always competing with other shows and never seems to win… Anyway, I found this fun Doctor Who book tag and figured it was a good time to share it, since the new season starts in two weeks!! *Fangirl Squeal!* I found this on Becoming Bookish so if you want to use it, please give credit to them. I will leave a blank list of the prompts at the bottom of this post for anyone who wants to do it too!
