Forest of a Thousand Lanterns Review

Forest of a Thousand Lanterns

Forest of a Thousand Lanterns was finally a villain story that I could get behind. I did like Fairest by Marissa Meyer, however at no point did I really care about Levana as a person.

A Court of Mist and Fury Review

A Court of Mist and Fury

A Court of Mist and Fury has literally taken me months to get through, so I’m sorry if this review comes off as a bit angsty…

Also, heads up. This book has several graphic sex scenes involving two consensual adults. I am going to discuss them, so if that makes you uncomfortable, feel free to skip the Rhys section.

Why did I wait?? Six of Crows Review

Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo

So, I have to admit this book has been on my to read list since it came out. Even after hearing all the amazing reviews, for some reason, I just wasn’t drawn to it. The summary just didn’t click with me. It wasn’t until Leigh Bardugo announced she was coming to Utah for her Wonder Woman: Warbringer tour that I finally decided that I had to read it before she arrived. So, I finally dived in. And wow, why on earth did I wait?? Definitely a five star book! And here’s why you should read Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo…

Holding Up the Universe Review

I finally got around to reading Holding up the Universe by Jennifer Niven…

Holding up the Universe by Jennifer Niven - My Review! Why you should give it a chance.

So, I’m a bit late to the party when it comes to this book. Oh the drama! Such drama!

A Scrappy Little Book- A Review

Anna Kendrick has been an actress I heartily enjoy watching ever since seeing her in Pitch Perfect. I saw her autobiography, Scrappy Little Nobody, on display at the library and had to snag it. It’s a quick read, so it’s one that you’ll get through in no time!

Scrappy Little Nobody - My review!

Mailbox Monday June 5th

Mailbox Monday was started over here and it’s one of my favorite book memes to participate in! I love seeing the books that everyone else has got. Plus, it’s fun to show off your haul. I don’t usually buy enough books to justify doing it, but I haven’t done it in a while, so I thought I’d catch up. It was recently my birthday, plus we went to Anime Oasis, so we could justify buying plenty of books!

WWW Wednesday May 17th!

WWW Wednesday is a fun meme I found here. I don’t do it every week, but this week I’m struggling to get through some of the books in my stack. I’m hoping that by doing this, it will motivate me to keep reading and get stuff done!

Queens of Geek for Life

If you’re on instagram like me, I’m sure you’ve seen pictures of Queens of Geek by Jen Wilde floating around. It’s been listed on many ‘most anticipate’ and  ‘must have’ lists from both readers and publishers. So, of course I had to pick it up when I was at Barnes and Noble the other day. All I knew about it was that it was supposed to be very diverse and very fangirl. I read it in less than three hours. It’s not a long book, but still. That’s quick. I loved it! And here’s why!

My most recent book purchase!
